Anarchy Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation primarily specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats, demonstrating a dedicated commitment to these beloved companion animals. 

However, we also engage in networking efforts and extend their assistance to a broader spectrum of animals in need. While our primary focus remains on dogs and cats, we occasionally leverage our resources and connections to support and advocate for other animals facing distressing situations. 

This broad-spectrum approach underscores our compassionate and adaptable approach to animal welfare, ensuring that various animals, beyond dogs and cats, receive vital help and advocacy when required. 

Our main focus is rescuing small breeds. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs with any form of aggressive behavior. Our foster dogs live in the homes of our dedicated volunteers alongside their families and pets, which is why we cannot take in dogs displaying aggression or biting problems.

To adopt one of our animals, we have implemented a comprehensive vetting process to ensure the well-being of both the animals and their potential adoptive families. This process involves several key steps:

1. Adoption Application: The process begins with the interested individual or family filling out a thorough adoption application. This application serves as a foundational document that provides us with vital information about the prospective adopter's experience, lifestyle, and preferences regarding the type of animal they wish to adopt. 

* * Please Note that it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to respond to every application, and you are filling out an application at your own free will. Applicants will be contacted based on their responses and potential match with the cat or dog listed on the application * *  

2. Background Check: Upon receiving the adoption application, we initiate a comprehensive background check to verify the information provided and assess the applicant's suitability as a responsible pet owner.

3. Home Visit: Following a favorable review of the application, we schedule a home visit to evaluate the living conditions and ensure they meet the standards necessary for the animal's well-being.

4. Reference Check: We contact the references listed in the application to gather insights into the applicant's character, reliability, and their ability to provide a loving home for a pet.

5. Meet and Greet (if applicable): In situations where the temperament of the animal or compatibility with existing pets is a consideration, we arrange a meet and greet. This allows both the adopter and the animal to interact, ensuring a harmonious match.

6. Vet References: We may also contact the applicant's veterinarian to confirm their history of responsible pet ownership, including regular veterinary care and adherence to recommended vaccinations and treatments.

By integrating the adoption application into this process, we aim to ensure that our animals find their forever homes with individuals or families who have demonstrated a genuine commitment and suitability to provide them with the love, care, and security they deserve.
