Year after year, countless homeless and adoptable pets are relinquished to euthanizing shelters across the nation, with a disheartening majority succumbing to the harsh reality of overcrowding in these facilities.
This overcrowding is predominantly precipitated by individuals acquiring pets from commercial pet stores or breeders and neglecting the critical practice of spaying and neutering their companion animals. Each time an individual purchases a pet or permits their own animals to breed without restraint, perfectly adoptable dogs and cats face a dire fate within the confines of a shelter. This dire predicament forms a relentless cycle, one that can only be broken through comprehensive education, diligent outreach, and the embracing of adoption as a viable alternative.

By accepting shelter animals into our care, we create vacant spaces within these shelters, thereby affording them the capacity to accommodate newly arriving animals, ultimately leading to a reduction in the heartbreaking practice of euthanizing animals due to overcrowding.
